The two-story elementary school building is positioned along the western part oft he plot, forming a right-angled boundary with the existing secondary school building. The addition of an eastern connection to the gymnasium creates a spacious, three-sided schoolyard, which benefits from optimal natural light thanks to the low-rise buildings.

Both schools are accessed via the covered forecourt at the intersection of the old and new buildings, which serves as a shared entrance. The shared auditorium and library act as a link between the elementary and secondary schools, while each school retains its own distinct area.

The ground floor of the elementary school, which houses 20 classrooms, contains the common areas with direct access to the adjacent schoolyard and a classroom cluster. On the upper floor, the remaining four classroom clusters extend to the outdoors via covered terraces.The gymnasium and ancillary rooms are located in the basement and extend to the schoolyard via generous steps leading down to seating.

The existing building of the New Secondray School will not be extended in height; instead, the existing resources will be enhanced through a few targeted interventions and renovations.

By inserting a new central zone with learning areas, group rooms, and cloakrooms, four equally sized clusters will be created. The existing classrooms on the south side will be retained, allowing the school to accommodate 12 classes. Both schools open generously onto the spacious schoolyard, which fosters the existing cooperation between the two schools.
